NYMPHOPLASTY

Nymphoplasty is surgery of a hypertrophic labia minora, which is too long or too large. Some young women have a congenital hypertrophy. For older women, the age results in a lengthening of labia minora. There is no precise definition of a hypertrophied labia minora. Physical discomfort and the aesthetic considerations justify the surgery.

BEFORE THE OPERATION

During the first consultation, depending on the shape of your labia minora, I will explain to you the technic that I will use for you (triangular or longitudinal resection). You have to stop smoking 6 weeks before the operation.

THE OPERATION

The operation is carried out under general anaesthesia or local anaesthesia with sedation, as an out-patient.

AFTER THE OPERATION

There is no bandage, but personal hygiene is necessary with water and soap after each urination to obtain satisfactory healing. There may be swelling for some days until the reabsorption of the surgical threads.

Tight clothes, baths and sex should be avoided for 20 days.

THE RESULT

It takes 3 months to obtain the final result with soft scars and good sensitivity.
