LIPOSTRUCTURE

The operation is a real auto-transplant of fat cells by reinjection of the fat taken from the patient’s own body.It is used in reconstructive surgery to fill out depressions, and in esthetic surgery first and foremost for its volumizing effect.
The use of new material with increasingly smaller canula allows us to expand its use as wrinkle filler.This autologous fat tissue has become the best filler not only because of its amazing volumising effects but also for its long term trophic qualities. This procedure can be used alone or as a complement to another technique in particular during a lifting.

BEFORE THE OPERATION

At the first consultation, I will take photographs which I will study and compare with past photographs of you taken at various stages of your life. This will allow me to see the changes in each part of your face over the years and to propose to you an operation adapted to your need in order to re-establish the volume of your face. It is absolutely vital to stop smoking 6 weeks before the surgery given the risk of skin damage due to the vascular constriction caused by the nicotine.

THE OPERATION

I have been using the Coleman technique since 1998 which centrifuges the fat in order to keep only the fat cells. This intervention can be carried out under local anesthetic or with local anesthetic with sedation, generally as an out- patient.The incisions are very small, a few millimeters in order to insert the cannula. The operation will take place according to the protocol decided before the operation.

AFTERCARE

The after effects are minimal; there is no pain, and very little swelling and bruising.Recovery is very quick.The final result is obtained after 2 months.I will analyse the result at this time and if necessary I can propose an other session to have an even better result.
