Hair transplant surgery

This technique consists of removing hair follicles from the base of the head where the hair is more abundant and permanent and re-planting the follicles in the areas which need covering.

The introduction of microtransplants has revolutionized this surgery and made it simple to perform without causing invasive scarring. The procedure is carried out by the removal of a strip of hair which is then cut under a microscope in order to obtain the tiny micrografts which are then transplanted one by one into the bald area. This gives a very natural and pleasing result but may require more than one session to obtain maximum effect.
